The Peaceful Project is near and dear to my heart. I founded this after the school shooting at Columbine because I believe that if our youth understood the power of peace, the value of who they are innately, and just how simply brilliant and magnificent they can be when they learn to foster those characteristics, there would never need to be school shootings, low self esteem, burned-out teachers, exhausted parents, or suicide. I now have the experience of being a grandparent, which means that I am connected to a generation far beyond me and I am even more committed to my dream. Let’s support one another to discover our brilliance.

I am committed to serving and supporting The Peaceful Project because I wholeheartedly align with the mission, vision and core values. As the owner of a kindergarten through 8th grade school, I also believe that the leaders of tomorrow are the youth of today. The work that The Peaceful Project does to cultivate harmonious, peaceful environments that support communication, connection and provide tools for conflict resolution and empower our youth is invaluable. It is my firm belief that by making this program available to as many students as possible, we are ensuring that the future in is good hands and the hope for a world that lives in peace is a real possibility. It is my honor and pleasure to serve this organization.

I have experienced first-hand the powerful impact these programs can have on students, adults and entire communities. It is because of these experiences that I believe everyone should have access to the tools and programs offered through The Peaceful Project. Their work is vital to ensuring a world where we can all work together to advance common goals in peaceful and respectful ways. Their work is needed now more than ever.
