I founded this after the school shooting at Columbine because I believe that if our youth understood the power of peace, the value of who they are innately, and just how simply brilliant and magnificent they can be when they learn to foster those characteristics, there would never need to be school shootings, low self esteem, burned-out teachers, exhausted parents, or suicide. I now have the experience of being a grandparent, which means that I am connected to a generation far beyond me and I am even more committed to my dream.
